Cady McClain
Two time Daytime Emmy award winner Cady McClain returns to All My Children playing Dixie Cooney Martin, the fan favorite role she originated in 1988.

Ms. McClain's initial tenure on All My Children, was from 1988-1996 where she won her first Daytime Emmy-Award. She later returned to the show in 1998-2002, and then joined the cast of As The World Turns, playing the role of Rosanna Cabot where she won her second Daytime Emmy award. Additionally, she was also awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Heroine in 1991 and for Favorite Return in 1999.

No stranger to television audiences, Ms. McClain's extensive credits include; Law & Order SVU, A Father's Homecoming, Home Fires, Who Will Love My Children, St. Elsewhere, Spencer: For Hire, Cheers, One Big Family, and Lou Grant.

Ms. McClain's award-winning independent films credits include; Alma Mater, which premiered at the Hampton's International Film Festival in 2002 and it was nominated for the Golden Starfish award. The film also won the Audience Award for Best Film at the Austin Film Festival. Retreat, won the 2004 Wood's Hole Film Festival as well as the Telluride Indiefest. She recently completed shooting Soldier's Heart. Her additional film credits include; My Favorite Year, where she played Peter O'Toole's daughter, Tess and Pennies from Heaven.

On stage, Ms. McClain has appeared in David Ives' The Red Address at the second stage, opposite Kevin Anderson, which garnered excellent reviews, including The New York Times. Additional credits include; The Comedy of Errors, as Adriana, Much Ado About Nothing, as Hero at Lincoln Center, Barefoot in the Park, as Cory, Quiet on the Set, as Tamra/Bridget. She also wrote, produced and co-directed a surrealist one-woman piece, Mona7 and performed in Inventions of Farewell, another one-woman piece, compiled from Wallace Steven's poetry.

Adding to her accomplishments, Ms. McClain is an established musician and singer, having toured nationally and played in the 2004 Jazz Fest in New Orleans. Additionally, she is a collected painter and published poet. Her mural at the 2nd annual HOWL festival, (Named for Alan Ginsberg) was accepted by FEVA (Federation of East Village Artists) into the collection of the Museum of Counter Culture.
