Eden Riegel
Eden Riegel joined the cast of All My Children in the coveted role of Bianca Montgomery in July 2000. In the same year, the character "came out" as daytime's first contracted lesbian character. She left the show in 2004 and recently returned in October 2006.

She and former AMC co-star Olga Sosnovska made television history in April 2003, when their characters shared the first on-screen, same sex kiss in daytime television. Ms. Riegel received her third Daytime Emmy nomination in the Leading Younger Actress category for this role. In 2004 she received the inaugural GLAAD Out Image Award for the year's most popular gay/lesbian image. With Ms. Riegel's storyline, All My Children has been awarded three GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Daytime Drama in 2001, 2002 and 2004.

Born and raised outside of Washington, DC, Ms. Riegel landed her first major acting role as Young Cosette in Les Misérables. She then went on to tour with the show, traveling to 26 U.S. cities before being brought to Broadway, where she played Cosette for an additional two years.

While in New York City, Ms. Riegel made her mark as a working actress on and off-Broadway, including an appearance in the The Will Rogers Follies. Soon after her stint on Broadway, she began to branch out into television and film, and was cast in the recurring role of Meghan Cooper on New York Undercover, as well as guest-staring on Law & Order. Many may also remember her from the film American Pie, in which she played Sarah, an innocent high school sophomore experiencing the loud and lewd antics of teenage boys.

During the summer of 2006, Ms. Riegel played the title role of Millie in a regional production of the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie.

In addition to acting, education has always been a top priority for Ms. Riegel, who is currently on leave from Harvard University, studying political and social theory. Prior to All My Children, she had an opportunity to explore her political interests by serving as an intern at the White House. She currently resides in Los Angeles and New York City.
