Tonya Pinkins returned to All My Children in the role she created, prosecuting attorney Livia Frye, in March 2004.
Ms. Pinkin's is a Tony Award winner for her performance as Sweet Anita in Jelly's Last Jam and nominated for her role in Play On. Her additional Broadway credits include The Wild Party, House of Flowers and most recently playing the title role in Caroline or Change, which she recently received a Tony award nomination.
Ms. Pinkin's completed a memoir entitled Trial of Faith, a solo show called Defining Moments, and an album called Live at Joe's Pub.
