Dixie and David shared a kiss during the Crystal Ball, but Dixie insisted that she was going to stay faithful to Tad. Dixie started to become suspicious of Leslie, who was growing more and more obsessed with Tad. One day, Dixie went to confront Leslie and overheard her and Tad talking. Dixie jumped to the worst conclusion possible and mistakenly assumed that Tad and Leslie were having an ongoing affair. Dixie refused to believe Tad's claim that he had only slept with Leslie one time after being drugged with Libidozone and soon found herself outside David's door. Dixie tried to resist her feelings for David, but they gave into their passion and made love. Tad was crushed when he realized Dixie had slept with David and accused Dixie of looking for an excuse to make love with David. Tad then walked out on an equally devastated Dixie. Tad became determined to prove to Dixie that David had
orchestrated the events that led to him sleeping with Leslie at the yacht party. Jake was
equally as determined to expose David's dirty deeds. David then set a scheme in motion to frame Leslie for the Libidozone incident.
A part of Dixie wanted to hold onto what she and Tad shared, but she did make love with David again when they found themselves stranded at a country inn during a storm.
Erica was annoyed when Bianca decided to attend the Crystal Ball but Jack supported Bianca's decision and escorted both women to the gala. While at the ball, Bianca was confronted by tabloid reporter Donald Steele who had gotten the dirt from Greenlee. Donald publicly asked Binaca if she was gay and Erica was mortified when a strong Bianca refused to back down and openly admitted that she was a lesbian.
Bianca was bolstered when her schoolmates came to her defense when Donald showed up at her school, but was later crushed when Erica told Shannon that she would be the new Ms. Young Enchantment. Erica hired a therapist to try and help Bianca, who made it clear that Erica was the one who needed help. Erica continued to remain in denial about Bianca and the gap between them widened.
Erica was livid when she learned Bianca had stayed out all night with Rain. Erica then paid Rain $10,000 to leave Pine Valley and never contact Bianca again.
