Greenlee informed Roger that she had chosen Jake over Leo, but Roger questioned Greenlee's true feelings. Erica found Roger behind Greenlee's desk, as he was blasting Chris on the phone. Consequently, Erica accused Chris of being a drug dealer. Chris asked Erica to help him nail Roger, but Erica threatened to blow Chris' case unless he helped her get rid of Frankie.
Meanwhile, an oblivious Greenlee prepared a romantic surprise for Jake by getting naked. Vanessa accused Leo of still wanting Greenlee, but she took comfort in the fact that Laura could provide him with a hefty settlement in the event of a divorce. In turn, Leo revealed to Vanessa that Anna and David were dating.
Anna confronted Chris about Ryan's father, and Chris agreed to tell Ryan after finishing his case. An upset Liza told Adam about Ryan's imminent departure, and she thanked a privately pleased Adam for not meddling. However, Mia told Ryan about Adam's investigation into his background, and Ryan alerted Liza.
Jake overheard Laura trying to trick David into suspending Jake, and Jake pointed out to Laura that they both wanted Greenlee and Leo to remain apart. Up at the cabin, Jesse waited for David to open his package, but Anna interrupted with champagne and kisses.
