Hayley and Adam walk in on Simone and Mateo getting hot and heavy on Mateo's sofa. Adam and Mateo argue, and Hayley tells Mateo that their relationship is over. Mateo feigns shock, but Hayley and Mateo secretly meet later in the Chandler Passageway. Furthermore, "Proteus" surprises Hayley and Mateo when he calls and congratulates Mateo on his successful breakup. Meanwhile, Vanessa comes to David's defense when Dixie lashes out at him for taking her blood sample, but David pushes Vanessa away and reminds her that she is no longer welcome in his life. Before leaving, Vanessa exclaims that Frankie's murder has changed her, and David grows more and more wary of Bianca's story. Dixie reminds resistant JR that he must see a therapist in order to keep from going to jail. Adam agrees with Dixie's course of action, and Adam surprises Dixie when he falls apart with worry over his children. At the same time, Bianca demands that Erica spill what happened at Frankie's home the night before. Bianca exclaims that she cannot remember the specifics of the night Frankie died, and Erica denies that she is covering for Bianca. Erica assures Bianca that Frankie was after Bianca's money, and Bianca lashes out at Erica for destroying Frankie and the love between them. |
