Hayley secretly listens as Proteus warns Mateo that he is always watching him. Proteus points out the disintegration of Mateo's family, and Proteus reminds Mateo that he must prove himself invulnerable to move up in Proteus' organization. As a result, Hayley and Mateo feign more marital discord, and Hayley informs Mateo that she has packed her bags and is moving out.
At Enchantment, Greenlee focuses on running the ship in Erica's absence, but Leo briefly distracts Greenlee with seduction. As Greenlee and Leo work out sexual tension in Erica's dressing room, Bianca arrives at her mother's office and takes out her pain and frustration on Erica's furniture. Bianca admits to Leo that she feels responsible for Frankie's death, and Leo does his best to comfort Bianca. Meanwhile, Erica pleads not guilty to murdering Frankie. The Judge sets Erica's bail at ten million dollars and stipulates that Erica must wear an ankle cuff and restrict her activities to the home or office. Erica agrees to a moment alone with Jackson, and Jackson accuses Erica of a hate crime, suggesting that Erica could not deal with Bianca's sexuality. In return, Erica accuses Jackson of never coming to terms with the fact that she no longer loves him. Once alone, Erica congratulates herself on a stellar performance. |
