Anna comforts David on the anniversary of his father's suicide. David opens up and shares the horrific details, but David grows more suspicious of Anna when he overhears Chris instructing her to gain David's trust and uncover his tracks. Anna suggests to Chris that they have gone down the wrong road, but Chris ignores Anna, and Anna grows suspicious of Chris. Jackson also questions Chris' legitimacy, and he probes Chris about his apparently endless job resume. Furthermore, Jackson reveals that Erica once had doubts about Chris too, and Jackson warns angry Chris to behave. At Enchantment, Greenlee points out to Erica the substantial accomplishments she has made in Erica's absence, and impressed Erica rehires Greenlee. Meanwhile, Leo and Jake argue over Greenlee's needs, and Laura interrupts the sparring men to borrow sugar. Laura announces that she has moved into the building, and Laura also reveals that Greenlee has feelings for both Leo and Jake. Opal agrees to watch over Bianca during Erica's trial, and Erica expresses her willingness to sacrifice in order to save Bianca from going to prison for killing Frankie. Erica swears Opal to keep Erica's speculation a secret in order for Erica to continue her performance, but Chris threatens to close down the play when he makes a surprise entrance. |
