Anna assures David that she wouldn't take advantage of his genuine grief, and Anna confides that she suspects Chris has masterminded Proteus' organization. Later, Roger stumbles into David's room and collapses at his feet. Meanwhile, Chris probes Erica and insists that she share her confession to Opal with him as well. Erica keeps up her performance, and Chris freaks when Erica admits to telling Opal that she murdered Frankie. Once Chris departs, Erica confesses to Opal that she can't allow herself to get close to Chris because she fears she will end up telling Chris the truth. Later, Chris pulls Erica into a kiss after Erica reveals that she hired Hank to help Opal get over lingering feelings for Palmer. Mia tries to coax Ryan into a relationship, and Ryan apparently crushes Mia when he states that he is not in the right frame of mind to enter into a relationship with anybody. Anna approaches Ryan with information regarding his father, and Anna urges Ryan to enlist help from the FBI after sharing doubts with Ryan about Chris' account of Ryan's father's death. |
