Chris shares his confession to Ryan with Erica, and he elaborates by revealing that Ryan's father killed the woman Chris loved on their wedding day. Erica feels more and more drawn to Chris as he opens up to her, but Erica fears that she will never engage in a romantic relationship with Chris for fear of threatening Bianca's future. Liza's lawyer continues urging Liza to make a preemptive strike against Adam, but Liza again declines. Ryan pays Liza a visit, and Liza comforts Ryan after he divulges Chris Stamp's horrific admission. Adam confronts Ryan in Liza's arms, and Liza convinces Adam to help Ryan learn more about his father's death. Hayley barges in on Mateo with Simone, and Hayley announces her intentions to provide a life for Lorenzo without Mateo's presence. Later, Mateo congratulates Hayley on a job well done, but Hayley shocks Mateo when she stresses that she indeed intends to work. Mateo makes headway with Proteus, and Hayley and Mateo compromise and end up making love. |
