Greenlee accuses Leo of not wanting to face Jake when Leo shrugs off her suggestion that they attend the Crystal Ball. Leo asks Greenlee point blank if she loves Jake, and guilty Greenlee finally responds in the negative. Satisfied Leo agrees to escort Greenlee to the ball, and Leo presents Greenlee with an incredible surprise. Meanwhile, Anna continues taunting David, but David invites Anna to the Crystal Ball all the same. Mateo frightens Edmund when he reveals that he intends to use himself as bait to catch Proteus, but Mateo refuses to back down and live in fear for the rest of his life. Ryan stirs up more trouble when he arrives at the ball as Hayley's date, and Ryan freaks Hayley when he confides that Chris confessed to killing Ryan's father. Finally, Brooke smoothes the waters with Edmund when she comes to his side and assures him that Maria's memory will never die. |
