Roger's blackmail attempt failed so he lured Leo's ex-wife to Pine Valley to crash Greenlee and Leo's engagement party. Greenlee learned that Leo had conned his ex-wife into marrying him without signing a pre-nuptial agreement and then her ran off with her fortune. It was then revealed that Leo with the help of Vanessa originally intended to dupe Greenlee the same way. Leo tried to convince Greenlee that he really loved her but she called off the wedding and refused to talk to him. Leo sought comfort in his friendship with Laura as he continued to support her through her health crisis.
Anna's memories gradually began to return when she looked through some of her old belongings. Edmund and Anna growing closeness finally culminated into a passionate kiss. Alex feared that she was still under the influence of Charlotte's brainwashing when she began to have flashbacks from her time as Anna. A mystery man arrived at Wildwind and Edmund and Dimitri believed he was sent to kill Anna. It was later revealed that he was Anna and Alex's half-brother, Gabriel. Ilene Pringle pretended to want to shoot a documentary of Gillian in order to gain access to Wildwind. It turned out she was one of Charlotte's assassins on a mission to kill Anna. Anna shared a heartfelt reunion with her daughter Robin Scorpio. Anna feared for Robin's safety and ordered her to go back to Paris but promised she would join her there.
Brooke learned Laura contracted a virus that was attacking her heart. The doctors later informed her that Laura's heart damage was irreversible. Erica and Brooke put their differences aside and banded together to hide the truth about Laura's condition from their daughters. Erica promised Brooke that she would help get Laura the best possible care, including breaking David out of jail if need be. Brooke and Erica enlisted Dixie's help and and convinced Judge Stanton to let David out on bail so he could tend to Laura. Laura's condition continued to worsen and Brooke learned that a heart transplant was Laura's only chance at survival.
Greenlee asked Erica for a job at Enchantment with intentions of eventually starting up a competing cosmetics company. However, Erica turned the tables on Greenlee when she tricked her into signing a contract with a 10 year non-compete clause. Greenlee quit her job but then begged Erica for a second chance. Erica granted it to her on the condition that if Greenlee screwed up again she would have to leave Pine Valley for good. Meanwhile, Jake and Greenlee continued to grow closer as feelings other than friendship began to surface.
JR began acting out because of his anger towards Dixie and his pill popping became more frequent when he started hanging with Marcus, Sweeney, and crew. He stole Adam's car after overhearing Dixie speak to Judge Stanton on David's behalf. Hayley ended up getting into the car with JR while he was under the influence and he crashed into a tree. Luckily, Hayley and the baby were not harmed. Adam tried to cover but the police learned that JR was driving and he was sentenced to probation and community service. Meanwhile, Dixie asked Tad to move back in with her in an attempt to start rebuilding their marriage.
Hayley and Mateo reveled in their pre-labor bliss when Mateo surprised Hayley with a newly renovated SOS. In addition, Hayley celebrated the taping of her 300th episode of WAVE with a guest performance by Shaggy. |
