Brooke told Jamie the truth about Laura's heart condition. Leo was touched by
Laura's courage as she tried to hide her deteriorating condition from her loved ones. But Laura
was eventually unable to mask her chest pain and was forced to ask Leo to take her back to the hospital. David confirmed that Laura's condition was getting worse. Believing that Laura was going to die, Leo married her at an intimate ceremony in her hospital room.
A shocked Anna learned that Robin was HIV-positive. Anna forced Robin to go back to Paris,
but promised to join her there when her life was no longer in danger. Alex and Anna figured
out that Charlotte killed their parents and Gabriel's mother, Cici. Gabriel revealed to Anna
that Charlotte abused him by keeping him in a cage like an animal.
Ilene Pringle, Charlotte's assassin, held Gabriel captive in the turret in order to set a
trap for Anna. Ilene mistook Gillian for Anna and shot her in the head. Ryan discovered a
gun-shot Gillian in the turret. At the hospital, Ryan was in denial about Gillian being
brain dead and refused to allow them to donate her heart to Laura. Ryan finally agreed in
the nick of time, as Laura's time was quickly running out. Laura was kept in the dark about
receiving Gillian's heart. Laura realized whose heart she had received when she awoke to Ryan
holding his head on her chest, saying he could hear Gillian's voice. At the memorial
service, Ryan saw Gillian standing in the back of the chapel.
Greenlee's striptease stunt at the mall turned profitable for Enchantment, yet Erica still
kept her in her place. Erica reminded Greenlee that she would be packing her bags if she pulled another stunt that could compromise the Enchantment reputation. Jake
was mourning the loss of Gillian, while Greenlee reeled from Leo's marriage. In their
vulnerable states, the two comforted one another by making love. Greenlee witnessed Brooke
give Leo a check and assumed that he only married Laura for money.
With Mateo's help, Rosa convinced Isabella to allow her to attend Pine Valley High School.
Mateo surprised Hayley with a grand opening of the renovated SOS. Hayley thought she was
going into labor, so Mateo rushed her to the hospital, but it turned out to be a false alarm.
JR lied to Adam and Liza, saying that David gave him drugs. But David proved that JR broke
into his room and stole the drugs. He used the incriminating information against JR to bribe
Adam. In order for him not to go to the police about JR, Adam had to keep David out of jail.
A reluctant Adam agreed in order to protect his son.
JR remained tempted by drugs and confided in a concerned Hayley about trying to make the
right decision. Adam called off the deal, so David enlisted Sweeney's help in bringing JR
down.
The mysterious Chris Stamp arrived in Pine Valley as Enchantment's new janitor. Erica's
encounter with Chris proved to be disastrous with the two exchanging sarcastic insults at
one another. Alone, Chris rifled through Erica's files. |
