David is alarmed when he doesn't find Anna in the park with Leora as planned. Meanwhile, Anna meets to Joe to get a second opinion about delaying the operation to outfit Leora with a pacemaker. Joe agrees with David's opinion that Leora can wait for the pacemaker. David is livid that Anna went behind his back to speak with Joe. David softens towards Anna, who remains concerned by his behavior. David warns Maggie that he doesn't think Henry can be trusted. Maggie doesn't want to believe this and learns Henry's family owns a restaurant. Henry isn't pleased when Maggie later arrives at his family's restaurant. Maria joins Aidan in his quest to dig into Chris' past. Covering their real identities, Aidan and Maria approach an FBI agent with "evidence" about a certain criminal. When the agent isn't interested in their findings, Aidan and Maria realize that Chris has been withholding evidence in this particular case. Aidan and Maria begin to believe that Chris may be guilty of something after all. Jamie and Joni argue at the police station. Edmund arrives and assures Joni she still has her babysitting job with him. Joni's mother bails her out of jail. Joni later sees Jamie and Laurie in the park while she is watching Maddie. Joni witnesses a grateful Laurie hugging Jamie. Joni tries to make amends with Laurie and Jamie. Laurie opens up to Opal about her situation with Doug. Opal vows to help Laurie. Simone and Joni's stunt at the high school results in another success for Fusion. Mia and Kendall urge Greenlee to apologize to Simone and wonder if Greenlee's anger stems from the fact that Simone once slept with Greenlee's father. Greenlee confronts Simone and they come to an understanding, although Greenlee still won't bail Simone out of jail. |
