Erica is taken aback when Reggie informs her that Jack didn't sleep at home the previous night. Meanwhile, Jack is seen lying with a bullet wound to his chest. Erica refuses to believe Reggie's implication that Jack spent the night with another woman. Chris is alarmed when he is unable to reach Flanders and his distress grows when Erica tells him that Jack is nowhere to be found. Chris promises Erica he will do all that he can to find Jack. Joni overhears Luis threatening Reggie at the community center and later follows Reggie when he leaves. Luis finds Jack barely alive in the alley behind SOS. Reggie encounters Luis and they fight after Luis refuses to let Reggie call for help for Jack. Joni comes upon the scene and calls for help, which prompts Luis to run off. Kendall confronts Michael about his relationship with Lena. Kendall theorizes that Michael and Lena are working to destroy Enchantment and tells Michael she wants to join forces with him. Michael agrees to let Kendall work with him but warns her to never betray him. Anna and David take Leora to the hospital when she develops a high fever. David refuses to consider having Leora undergo surgery for a pacemaker. After the fever subsides, Joe admits to Anna that he thinks it would be best for Leora to have the pacemaker surgery. David is shocked when Anna later tells him that she signed the consent forms for Leora's surgery. David vows to legally fight Anna's decision if necessary. Anna threatens to arrest David if he tries to prevent Leora from having the surgery.
