Anna is devastated when David remains unresponsive and appears as if he won't attend Leora's funeral service. Anna is later grateful, and somewhat apprehensive, when David arrives as the service begins. Over Joe's protests, Tad goes to Leora's funeral to pay his respects to Anna. David breaks down as he speaks to a vision of a five-year-old Leora at the funeral. After the other mourners have left, Anna and David give in to their rage and grief and blame each other for Leora's death. Mia receives a surprising phone call from Jake and agrees to meet him for dinner later. Unable to wait, and secretly hoping he called to get back together with her, Mia goes to the Martins to see Jake and is stunned when he introduces her to Carolyn, his fiance. Jake makes Mia face the fact that she sabotaged their relationship and also claims that Mia never really wanted to marry him. Later, a miserable Mia encounters Michael at the health club. Palmer tries to reach out to Erica as he's worried about her emotional state in light of recent events. Erica is stunned when Kendall tells her that Greenlee's grandfather hired Lena. Palmer cautions Kendall not to jump to the conclusion that Erica suddenly fully accepts her as her daughter. |
