Erica accuses the person on the phone of betraying her and admits to Kendall and Bianca that she had been speaking to her father, Eric Kane. Erica makes it clear that she never wants to see or speak to her father again and blames him for her own rape when she was a teenager. Kendall and Bianca suspect that Erica feels as though they betrayed her. Mary arrives to tell Bianca that Babe wants to throw her a baby shower. Erica covers her feelings and insists that Bianca accept Babe's invitation. Alone, Erica's emotions almost come to the surface. Krystal is relieved to learn that Tad didn't tell JR the truth about Babe's first marriage. Tad insults Krystal when he assumes she is willing to sleep with him in exchange for his continued silence. JR admits to Babe that he isn't sure what he would have done if the paternity test had turned out differently. Adam tells Mary that he wants Babe out of JR's life after the baby is born. Joe hires Anita to work at the hospital. Anita assures Maria that she isn't sacrificing her life in order to help her and insists she wants to stay in Pine Valley. Edmund tells a stunned Maria that he is going to have the surgery despite the risks. |
