Edmund confesses his fears to Anita as he prepares for his surgery. Edmund tells Anita he would have married Maria even if he had known all the troubles they were going to face. Maria and Anita wheel Edmund to the operating room. Krystal is furious when she realizes Tad and Joe had a DNA test performed to determine Bess' true mother. Tad defends his actions as Joe returns with the test results. JR and Babe take Bess home. Stuart and Marian are delighted to meet Bess.
