Zach doesn't kiss Kendall but does invite her to celebrate the holiday in the park with him. Greenlee teases Ryan over the fact she has a surprise for him. Greenlee's secret is almost exposed when she and Ryan encounter Kendall and Zach at the boathouse. Kendall sees Zach in a new light as he gives her advice on how to help Greenlee. Jack, Lily, Reggie, Danielle, Brooke, Sam, Livia, Derek and Mimi meet for a picnic in the park where Mimi introduces everyone to her fiancé Garret, whom Danielle and Derek take an instant dislike to. Danielle is hurt by when she overhears Livia and Mimi talking about Danielle's once questionable parentage. Reggie finds Sam drinking beer in front of Lily at a keg party on the beach.
