Adam gambles at Zach's casino to seemingly try and win some of his money back while also probing Zach about his real involvement in the kidnapping. Zach gives nothing away to Adam, who remains highly suspicious of his nemesis. Zach agrees to allow Adam to rent the mansion for a month and keep living there. Meanwhile, Tad figures out that JR orchestrated his own kidnapping and that the plan went horribly awry. JR admits nothing to Tad but is left with plenty to mull over when Tad advises him to come clean to Adam so they can work together against Zach. Ryan tries to placate Annie by explaining that he told Greenlee they can have no further contact whatsoever. Annie is certain Greenlee will ignore Ryan's ultimatum and will continue to be a presence in their lives. Nothing Ryan says can mollify Annie, who goes to bed alone. Kendall takes Greenlee to dinner hoping to get her to open up about Ryan. Greenlee and Josh turn the tables on Kendall when she tries to push them together but end up sharing an unexpected flicker of mutual attraction. Pam pleads with Jack and Erica to keep their reconciliation quiet for the sake of the show's ratings. Erica convinces a reluctant Jack to go along with the ruse after stating she'll publicly declare that she was the one who changed her mind about the divorce. A disappointed Pam later reveals to Jack and Erica that the tabloids have a photo of them kissing at the hospital. |
