Kendall breaks down in Erica's arms as she gives in to her fears for Spike. Annie surprises Ryan and Joe with her medical knowledge regarding the different forms of deafness. Kendall stays behind as Zach is called off by Ian's doctor. Zach learns that Ian is severely jaundiced but that his condition should be able to be treated easily. Zach continues to bond with his tiny son as Delano lets him feed the baby using a syringe and a feeding tube. A frustrated Ryan reaches his breaking point as he shares his concerns about Spike with Annie. Annie changes the subject when Ryan questions her about her childhood and later makes a mysterious call. Kendall goes with Zach to see Ian but can't take her mind off Spike. JR realizes the mistake he's made when Jack tears into him for ruining Ava's attempted sting. Lenny drags Ava to a beach shack after refusing to strike a deal with Jack and Derek. Lenny calls Derek and threatens to kill Ava if his demands aren't met. In an effort to right the mess he made of things, JR sneaks off to the beach shack but only makes the situation worse when he ends up becoming a hostage himself. Babe, Colby, Sean and Stuart help Tad and Krystal move into their new house and later learn what's unfolding on the beach. |
