JR and Ava exchange insults, each blaming the other for the mess they're in as Lenny becomes more and more unhinged. Meanwhile, Adam can't help but be concerned when he learns about JR and joins the others as they watch the events unfold on the beach. Babe and Amanda bond over their concern for JR. Jonathan is worried sick over Ava and would like to tear JR apart. JR and Ava use their fight to distract and get the jump on Lenny. Everyone holds their breath when a shot rings out but is soon overjoyed to see Ava and JR leave the shack unharmed with Lenny now at gunpoint. Lily holds out her arms and she and Ava share their first hug. Greenlee assumes Zach hired Aidan to hold her hostage at the Yacht Club. Greenlee refuses to leave town until she makes things right. Aidan is amazed that Greenlee believes she'll ever be able to fix what she's done. Greenlee breaks down when Aidan informs her of Spike's deafness. Greenlee is determined to stay in town and undo the damage she's done but Aidan might have other plans for her. Kendall is in denial over Spike's deafness possibly being permanent.
