Zach fears Kendall is falling apart when he finds her in a stranger's hospital room asking to hold the woman's baby. The woman is affected by Kendall's plight and allows her to hold her newborn. Meanwhile, Ryan is surprised by Annie's reluctance to the idea of Spike staying with them. Annie tries to cover her fear and doesn't tell Ryan what she really afraid of. Zach and Kendall arrive at Ryan's wanting to take Spike home with them but Annie surprises everyone when she suggests they all move in together. Dr. Hilliard is unfazed when Greenlee alerts him to the fact that Aidan is on a mission posing as a patient. Aidan quickly realizes that Dr. Hilliard is on to him and later figures out that Greenlee was the one who tipped him off. Dr. Hilliard realizes that Greenlee is the person who kidnapped Spike and was responsible for the accident that left him deaf. Greenlee bares her soul to the doctor, insisting he help Spike. Dr. Hilliard has had his fill of Greenlee and refuses to take Spike on as a patient. A reluctant Jack agrees to co-host Erica's new talk show after learning the network will hold a fundraiser to raise money to benefit deaf children and premature babies. The attraction between Jack and Erica is palpable as he makes an addendum to his contract and inserts a clause promising they will enjoy intimate relations. |
