Delirious from his fever, Zach believes that Greenlee is Kendall. Greenlee, wanting to prevent Zach from passing out again, plays along. Pretending to be Kendall, Greenlee urges Zach to stay strong and return to her. Continuing her "Kendall act," Greenlee asks Zach what to do about Greenlee when they return to Pine Valley. After Zach gives his answer, Greenlee does not like what she hears. Searching for Greenlee, Aidan heads to the house in the middle of nowhere around where she disappeared. Encountering Sylvester, a squirrelly man who wants to leave civilization behind, Aidan forces his way in to search the house. Although Aidan finds nothing inside, he remains suspicious of Sylvester. Alone, Sylvester stumbles across blueprints for the bomb shelter and tosses them.
Although momentarily tempted, Annie refuses to poison Richie. When Annie beats herself up for even considering Richie's request, Ryan stops her. Urging Richie not to give up, Babe vows to support him. Finding JR drinking in a bar, Adam promises to give him an alibi for the night Zach disappeared. But JR then confesses to Derek that he had a drunken blackout the night Zach vanished. After JR admits to Derek that he has no idea what happened that night, Adam looks on, shocked. Later, Babe learns of JR's arrest.
