Aidan gives Kendall the reassurances she needs when he promises to work with her to find Greenlee and Zach. Certain she will be reunited with her husband, Kendall leaves the searching to Aidan and returns home to her sons. Greenlee panics when Zach unearths the hand of a skeleton and is convinced she and Zach will die in the bomb shelter. Zach calms Greenlee and the animosity between them subsides a bit.
Erica reams out Joe for telling Jack about the commitment papers against Greenlee. Although she denies it (she is Erica, after all), Josh realizes that Erica is more worried about her troubles with Jack than she's admitting. Josh agrees that Erica was justified in trying to have Greenlee committed but points out that she's going to have to suck it up and apologize to Jack if she wants to make things right with him.
Ryan confronts Richie about his plan to have Annie kill him and thus be sent to prison. Richie denies any such thing. Ryan turns to Joe for help and has Richie moved to the psychiatric ward, where Richie meets Janet. Meanwhile, Jonathan is the only one who can get through to Lily as he assures her he knows all about Richie's murder plot and promises her it won't happen. The connection between them isn't lost on Ava.
