Annie is ecstatic when she learns Ryan's 2005 vasectomy likely didn't take (a doctor from the clinic reports this to her because the clinic is being sued). Ryan admits to Kendall that although he remembers Annie, he doesn't remember loving her. When Annie goes to tell Ryan, she overhears Kendall reacting to Ryan's confession of not remembering feelings for Annie.
Greenlee confesses to Aidan that she's certain she never wants to be a mother. A bitter Aidan questions why she was once so desperate to have Ryan's child. Greenlee explains her feelings were misguided then – it was more about saving Ryan – and reaffirms that she doesn't want kids. Aidan is upset, and Greenlee fears they are over for good.
Jack confronts Erica, who has no choice but to confirm Kendall and Aidan's indiscretion. Erica urges Jack not to say anything to Greenlee, leaving Jack torn on whether to tell his daughter the truth.
Jake shuts down when Tad tries to get him to open up on what life has been like for the last few years. Jake remains cryptic when Tad questions what happened to Jake's wife, Carolyn.
Stuart wonders if Adam really could be seeing Dixie's ghost but JR won't hear of it. Colby worries for her father and tells Tad that Adam was committed. At Oakhaven, Dixie taunts Adam, who still refuses to tell Tad the truth about Kate. Dixie throws a pillow in Adam's face, which begins to suffocate him, but it only appears to the orderlies that Adam was trying to suffocate himself and thus he's unstable. Tad shows up to see Adam.
Jesse has a feeling that something is amiss, but Angie assures him that the bad times are behind them. Rob drugs Cassandra to try to find where her stuffed animal (containing the diamond he needs) is. Stuart and Little Adam, bearing the animal to return to Cassandra, arrive outside the door.
