Angie has the unfortunate task of telling Joe that Tad is in bad shape. Jake prepares to operate on Tad, but time seems to be running out. Krystal stays by Tad's side before he's led off to surgery. Dixie appears before Adam as he watches over Kathy/Kate, silently urging him to tell the truth. After learning about Tad, Adam goes to the hospital to be there for JR and Krystal. Will he tell everyone that Kathy is really Kate?
Zach pulls out of Greenlee's kiss knowing she's just acting out over the hurt she feels. Greenlee insists she and Zach need to get Kendall and Aidan out of their lives. Greenlee takes off when Kendall arrives and ends up being picked up by Ryan after getting a flat tire. Greenlee thinks she and Ryan should just ride off into the night together to escape all their problems. He comforts her, knowing she's just really upset about Aidan. Annie becomes upset when she sees Greenlee in Ryan's arms at the hospital. Annie spies a pamphlet about how to get pregnant if you're having trouble conceiving: It's clear she's thinking about carrying Ryan's baby.
