AMC's New Goldin Boy
Surprise! Ricky Paull Goldin is coming to All My Children as the new Dr. Jake Martin.
Goldin will soon wrap up his seven-year stint as Gus Aituro on Guiding Light. Look for the popular soap star to land in Pine Valley on April 30.
The character of Jake Martin previously was played by Michael Lowry and J. Eddie Peck. Jake's past love interests include the late Gillian Andrassy Lavery, Liza Colby, and… Greenlee Smythe!
What's next for Tad's younger brother? Last seen in 2003, Jake's been working for Doctors Without Borders in Africa. When we first see Jake, he's been captured by Darfurian rebels. Aidan (Aiden Turner) arrives to help rescue his best mate Tad's brother. When Jake returns to Pine Valley, he's carrying a big secret. Look for Jake to get some special help from Dixie, his ghostly ex sister-in-law (played by Cady McClain).
