Alicia Leigh Willis joined the cast of General Hospital as Courtney Matthews in December 2001. Alicia received her first Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2003, and was nominated again in 2004 for the same category.
Daytime viewers are familiar with Alicia from Another World, where she portrayed Alli Fowler for one year. Alicia has also guest-starred on several television series, including Something So Right, Maggie Winters, Grace Under Fire, The Chronicles and Greg the Bunny. She has had a recurring role on 7th Heaven since 1997, playing a teen-age mom on the serial. Alicia had a principal role in the Aerosmith video Pink. Her feature film credits include a small role in Lost & Found and a featured role in How High, which was released in December 2001.
Alicia appeared in a popular Kellog's Frosted Flakes commercial as the result of an open casting call looking for a volleyball player. She went on to pursue acting while in high school. Taking her craft seriously, Alicia studied acting at the South Coast Repertory and continued her acting education upon graduation by studying with Joanne Baron at the D.W. Brown Studio.
Alicia spends a lot of time at the beach, where she is learning to surf. As much as she loves to have fun in the sun, she takes equal advantage of Los Angeles' close proximity to the mountains and snowboards every chance she gets.
Alicia lives in the Los Angeles area with her cat, Luey.
