From the beginning, Faith Roscoe has had it in for Sonny Corinthos because she blames him for her husband's death. When Faith ran out of money, she was forced to take in a partner. Ned Ashton was the perfect person to team up with Faith because he blamed Sonny for his girlfriend Kristina's death.

Faith spent a lot of her time trying to take down Sonny, but nothing ever seemed to work. She even went as far as to kill her own grandmother so she could keep a promise she had made that she wouldn't go after him while her grandmother was still alive. She then hired a hit woman to kill Sonny at the memorial service. But the hit woman didn't get the job done, so Faith poisoned her.

Ned got fed up with Faith so she was forced to turn to another partner, Ric Lansing. Faith and Ric planned to stage a fight in front of the five families over Sonny's territory, but their plan went by the wayside when Sonny showed up at the meeting. Meanwhile Sonny and Jason both wanted to know who Faith's secret partner was, so Jason formed a fake partnership with Faith to get the information. Faith was scared of Ric, so she lied to Jason and told him she didn't have a partner.

Faith ran Courtney down with her car when she found out Courtney knew about some false evidence she and Ric had planted. Faith told Ric she protected him and they ended up sleeping together. But Ric was done with Faith and desperately trying to get out of his partnership with her. When faith found out Ric's girlfriend Elizabeth was pregnant, Faith framed Sonny and pushed her down the stairs causing her to miscarry. This caused Ric to hate Sonny even more than he already did.

Faith found out about Ric kidnapping Carly and told him to let her go. He lied about having Carly and Faith continued to try to keep the cops off his trail, in the meantime she tried to convince Ric he didn't really love Elizabeth. Faith was always jealous of his relationship with Liz and Faith even tried at one point to poison her lemonade.

The cops were on to Faith again and she decided to make a deal with them to save herself. She agreed to pose as Sonny's mistress to take down Lorenzo Alcazar. Faith repeatedly came on to Sonny, but he would not have any of it. She then partnered up with Alcazar, but when he wanted to sleep with her, she wouldn't have anything to do with him.

When Ric disappeared, Faith was scared that Sonny had killed him. But in fact Sonny had Ric trapped in a safe house where Jason finally took Faith to show her Ric was alive.

Faith is about to leave town with Ric when he was accused of hitting Liz with his car. Faith was left out in the cold again when Ric reconciled with Liz. Faith went to a meeting with the 5 families with the hopes of taking control and the room was sprayed with gunfire.

Faith decided she needed as new business partner, and hired Zander Smith to work as her bodyguard. It was not long until they became lovers as well as business associates.

Faith decided she wanted to use Nikolas Cassadine's ship to move drugs. She got Zander to take care of things, but learned her shipment was torched.

Faith couldn't sit still for too long and went into business with Luke Spencer to help finance his casino. But she couldn't stand Sky Chandler who Luke had also brought in to help with his business.

Faith's old lover Justus Quartermaine came back to Port Charles.

When Carly was drugged and shipped off to an insane asylum, Faith took this as an opportunity to use Carly as bait to get Sonny to kill Alcazar, leaving Faith with full control over the territory.

To protect herself from Sonny, Faith checked herself into Ferncliff. Faith was angry when Zander failed to intercept Sonny's shipment. Faith then set Zander up for shooting the cop, Brian.

Faith decided that Courtney was her solution to getting Sonny's business. She told Courtney she was going to move shipments through her newly held ownership of the piers. Courtney refused and Faith pulled a gun on her.

Faith was arrested for money laundering. But Justus got her released.

Faith hired a cop Ross to get Skye. Ross was found murdered not soon after and Faith was arrested. Alexis agreed to represent her. Faith insisted to Luke she was not involved with Ross' murder. Faith went on trial.
