Robyn Richards took on the role of the rebellious and troubled teen Maxie Jones in 1994. Robyn has played the role of Maxie Jones for over 10 years, with the exception of a brief hiatus in 2002. Within four months, she was back on the set of General Hospital.

In 1999 Robyn won The Hollywood Reporter's Young Star Award for best young actress in Daytime for her role as Maxie Jones.

Robyn attends a private, college preparatory school and looks forward to attending college. Her favorite subjects are math and science, and she makes the honor roll every year. She has also played on the school's varsity volleyball team for the past two years.

Robyn devotes much of her time to helping the community. She has been involved with the Hospice Organization for the last three years, and has participated in various other projects, including the Millennium Mask Project and the recent Flip Flop Project.

In her free time, you can find Robyn at the beach, either in the ocean or playing beach volleyball with her friends. She resides in a small community north of Los Angeles with her family.
