Sonny agrees to fly Sam to an airstrip on Azure Key in exchange for a cut of the treasure she has with her. Sonny and Sam end up stranded together in a shack on Azure Key. Carly questions Jason about how his feelings changed after his accident but stops herself from telling him that she's been thinking of Alcazar. Carly later encounters Alcazar, who admits he was the man who kissed her on the Haunted Star. Jason watches unseen as Alcazar and Carly are close to sharing a kiss. Cody warns Nikolas that Ben is a dangerous man. Nikolas saves Emily from drowning and carries her out of the grotto. Emily takes the pirate's journal with her. Emily insists that Nikolas not give up his quest to recover the treasure. Brian apologizes when Courtney becomes angry with him for trying to make decisions for her. Courtney is moved when Brian talks about his deceased wife and son. Ben follows Jax and pulls a gun on him. Jax learns that Sam left town on Sonny's jet.
