Sonny and Jason fight when Jason refuses to take over the business to provide Sonny a distance from the mob, which Sonny believes will keep his children safe. Jason tells Sonny that they can never escape the mob and that their choices resulted in what happened to Michael. Jason thinks that Sonny needs to sign over his parental rights, as that's the only way to truly keep his children safe. Meanwhile, Carly demands Spinelli quickly establish new identities for she and Morgan and find a safe place for them to live. Spinelli calls Jason for help. Jason convinces Carly not to skip town with the promise that he'll get Sonny to do what she wants. Spinelli musters his courage to confront Sonny and let him know he agrees with Jason. Sonny reacts badly and nearly gives Spinelli a concussion. Sonny appreciates the fact that Kate is able to remain calm amidst all the chaos in his life and they happily reunite.
Maxie nurses Spinelli after his confrontation with Sonny. She tells Spinelli he'll have to spend the night at her place so she can watch over him.
Anthony threatens Lulu to keep Johnny in line. Logan warns Lulu that she's risking her life by being involved with Johnny. Lulu won't listen to him.
Patrick is with Robin when she feels the baby kick for the first time. It's a nice moment between them.
