Jason agrees to take over the mob for Sonny on the condition that Sonny gives up his rights to Michael and Morgan. Sonny finally agrees, and signs over the mob and his parental rights. Jax returns home and tells Carly they need to acknowledge the problems in their marriage. Carly accuses him of visiting Brenda, but he tells her he needed time to think. Both agree they need a little distance from each other, which they hope will ultimately help the distance between them. Sonny later stops by to tell Carly he signed away his rights, which leads to an emotional embrace between the two exes. Jax witnesses it. Meanwhile, Jason tells the Zaccharas he's in charge of Sonny's operation now.
A calculating Anthony orders Ric to find a way to turn Claudia against Johnny: Romance her, whatever. In doing that, Anthony believes Johnny will be 100% loyal to him.
Spinelli jumps to the wrong conclusion when he wakes up in bed beside Maxie. Some comments from Maxie leads Spinelli to think they slept together multiple times and he can't remember. Mac goes ballistic when he discovers Spinelli in Maxie's room. Spinelli tells Sam that he believes he slept with Maxie and can't remember. Sam goes to get information from Maxie and learns the two didn't sleep together. At Mac's request, Robin asks Maxie if she would ever date Spinelli and Maxie says she can't and wouldn't because they are best friends. Sam informs a crestfallen Spinelli that he didn't have sex with Maxie as he had assumed. Sam offers to give Spinelli tips on how to attract women. Jason watches from afar as Elizabeth and Lucky take Jake and Cameron on a family outing. Liz tells Lucky that he's a good father to the boys as Jason looks longingly at his son and the woman he loves. |
