Melissa Fumero joined the cast of One Life to Live in January 2004, in the role of Adriana Cramer, the daughter of Dorian Lord (Robin Strasser).

Ms. Fumero was born and raised in New Jersey, the daughter of Cuban-born parents who moved to the United States as teenagers. In December 2003, she received a B.F.A. in Drama from New York University.

The role of OLTL's Adriana marks Ms. Fumero's first professional acting job. A dancer since childhood, she continues to take classes when her schedule permits.

In December 2007, Ms. Fumero married her co-star, David Fumero, who plays Cristian Vega. Prior to that, she was known as Melissa Gallo.

Ms. Fumero is an avid reader and enjoys going to the theatre as much as possible.
