Emmy Award-winning actor David Tom joined the cast of One Life to Live on March 11, 2003 when he assumed the role of Paul Cramer appearing on both OLTL and All My Children. Mr. Tom's joins his Emmy Award-winning sister Heather Tom to become daytime's only siblings both on and off screen. Mr. Tom is known to daytime audiences from his former role as The Young & the Restless' good guy Billy Abbott, but on OLTL he plays a baby stealing blackmailer.

Born on Hinsdale, Illinois, as a twin (sister Nicholle is best known as Maggie on The Nanny), he began his career doing print work and commercials at the early age of eight. The Tom family then moved to Seattle, Washington where he and his sisters would continue to pursue their acting careers. The talented Tom trio along with their mother Marie made a two week trial move to Los Angeles. They began working immediately and moved to LA permanently.

In 1999, Mr. Tom joined the cast of Y&R, acting alongside but never in storyline with his sister, Heather, who played Victoria Newman since 1991. In 2000, they each received Emmy Award Nominations for Best Younger Leading Actor and Actress, becoming the first brother and sister pair to be nominated in the same year. Mr. Tom was awarded the statue and in 2001, he repeated the nomination.

Mr. Tom studied acting at Young Actors Space. His television credits include a series regular on A Brand New Life starring Barbara Eden and Jennie Garth, a starring role in the summer camp comedy series Salute Your Shorts, a series regular in pilots Buddies and Worlds Apart. He also appeared in a recurring role on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and guest starred on Just the Ten of Us, Get a Life, Quantum Leap, Sister Sister, 3rd Rock From the Sun, Rescue 77, Party of Five and Strong Medicine.

Mr. Tom has also starred in several television movies and feature films. His made for TV movie credits include A Place to be Loved, Summertime Switch, Holy Joe and The 60's. .His feature film credits include Plain Clothes and Lessie's Rainbow, a horror film called Stepfather 3, Stay Tuned, Swing Kids, Roommates and Pleasantville.

When he not working, Mr. Tom loves to spend his time working on his music. He has played the drums for over 10 years.
