WHERE THERE'S A WILL...
Asa Buchanan fathered a dynasty, as evidenced by his large family and multi-national corporation. When he died, everyone expected the will to hold a few surprises. Still, the bomb that Asa had a heretofore unknown son was unexpected. Heads are sure to turn when the family learns David Vickers, perpetual con man, is the long lost heir. That may be a while off, as Jared Banks has falsely claimed the title and the benefits which go along with it.
Only problem with Jared's scheme: He's forced to pretend the woman he's falling for, Natalie Buchanan, is his niece. FATHER AND CHILD REUNION
Rex Balsom and Gigi Morasco were high school sweethearts. Gigi had high hopes for a future with Rex, but he ditched her after graduation to come to Llanview. It's eight years later and Gigi's now in town--with a son. Rex has done the math and questioned if young Shane is his, but Gigi swears Rex isn't the daddy. But she's lying.

FRIENDS AND LOVERS
Things between Antonio Vega and his girlfriend Talia seemed to go wrong when Antonio lost all his money thanks to a federal investigation. Their new boss, police chief Lee Ramsey, partnered Talia with John McBain, Antonio's friend. Antonio suspected something was going on between Talia and John, and Ramsey fed his suspicions, wanting Antonio in his pocket. When Antonio and his partner found John and Talia in a hotel room together, all hell broke loose. Now Talia and Antonio are on the outs, John and Antonio aren't speaking and Ramsey's thrilled to have Antonio closer to being under his thumb.
