Michael makes an emotional plea for Marcie to put an end to the situation before someone gets hurt. Marcie finally realizes that she has no choice but to give her son up. Michael says a tearful goodbye to Tommy. A defeated Marcie walks out of the diner with Tommy in her arms and wordlessly hands him over to Todd. Marcie is promptly arrested.
Back in Llanview, Rex and Adriana are wrecked as they watch the events unfold on TV. Rex promises Adriana that he will always love her and stand by her. Rex and Adriana can't help but worry about what Todd might do to them if he finds out they knew the truth about Tommy all along.
Natalie goes ballistic when she walks in on Jared kissing Jessica. Jessica is able to keep her Tess ruse alive without letting Natalie in on what she's really doing. Natalie is deeply hurt by Jared's actions. Nash is furious that Jessica is still pretending to be Tess.
Clint and Nora agree that there is something going on between them and decide to see where it will lead. They wonder how Bo, Viki and Matthew will react.
