Starr is shocked by Cole's suggestion that they should run away together and even more surprised to learn he wants to marry her. Cole tries to convince an upset and disbelieving Starr that his plan will work. Later, Starr agrees to Cole's plan and they make plans to leave later that night.
Gigi slaps Rex when it looks as though he's about to kiss her. Rex claims he was just trying to point out how Jared is taking advantage of Gigi and that he's totally committed to Adriana. However, it's clear both are unnerved by the experience and Rex, in particular, has unresolved feelings. Gigi confides in Marcie about her rekindled feelings for Rex. Meanwhile, Adriana has joined up with Layla and Dorian and Brody (supposed father to Gigi's son). Brody, mistaking her for Gigi, pulled her into a kiss but she quickly pulls out. Adriana lays it on thick as she works to convince Brody to come to Llanview to reunite with Gigi and Shane, claiming Gigi's never gotten over him and Shane needs the presence of a father figure. Brody's temper and aggressive attitude are surprising to the three women. Dorian offers to pay Brody's way, so he agrees to return with them. Adriana is confident things are going to work out just as she had hoped.
Jared and Natalie are on the verge of having sex when Viki interrupts with a knock on the door. Natalie asks Viki to talk to her old friend Calvin and halt any takeover attempts at B.E. Charlie warns Jared nothing can ever happen with Natalie. Natalie later tells Jared that nothing will ever happen between them but he thinks otherwise.
