Rex wakes up with Adriana on their wedding day and both aren't nearly as happy as they should be. Roxy panics when she finds Rex and Adriana together as she believes it's a sign of bad luck to come. Roxy is uncharacteristically maternal with Rex as she makes it clear she's always loved her son and explains how proud she is of him. Bo suspects that Rex is suffering more than just pre-wedding jitters (is he questioning his true feelings for Gigi?). Gigi confesses to Marcie that Rex is Shane's father. Before she leaves, Marcie tries to impress upon Gigi how important it is that she tell Shane the truth but Gigi insists she's doing the right thing for all concerned by keeping quiet. When Shane suffers an asthma attack, he and Gigi race to Llanfair in search of Shane's inhaler and encounter Rex, who is there looking for Charlie. Adriana confronts Brody demanding he make good on their deal: She wants him to get Gigi away from Rex.
Nigel fears that Jared and Natalie won't be able to keep their relationship a secret. Viki is surprised to see David back in Llanview when he barges into her kitchen. David subtly fishes for information about Jared and later goes to Asa's mansion where he comes face to face with Jared and Natalie, who pale when David says he knows everything.
