Starr testifies against her father in Sam's custody hearing. Blair also testifies against Todd. The judge rules Sam should remain in foster care. Marcie and Michael offer to take Sam, but the judge refuses after Todd reminds him of Marcie's kidnapping of Sam. Blair stands up and offers to take in Sam. The judge agrees. Marcie gets upset at being so close to getting Sam back, but losing him again. It makes her long for a child, which she can never have—biologically, or via adoption, since her record would prevent it. Starr overhears Marcie telling this to Michael.
Viki looks for Charlie at Dorian's, but gets no where in her search. Dorian prepares for the final touches of her plan, which include plying recovering addict Charlie with alcohol. David tries to resist Addie's very forward advances.
Nash stands to lose the vineyard but Jared offers to use Buchanan Enterprises funds to save it from the investors who want to use the land to build a shopping mall. Jared finds David at Dorian's. Jessica tells Natalie she's pregnant.
