Scott remains evasive when Adam questions him about his statement that he knows Annie didn't kill Stuart. Adam comes to the conclusion that Emma really did shoot Stuart after talking to Annie, realizing how far a parent would go to protect their child.

Zach, Kendall and Liza have their work cut out for them when they come up with a plan to have Kendall switch places with her double, who's being rushed to the hospital with a stab wound. Jesse enlists Angie's help at the hospital to make sure no one knows it really isn't Kendall who's being stitched up. Angie scrambles to prevent David from examining Kendall but he suspects something is going on, allowing Kendall to slip in and take her double's place in the nick of time. Erica creates more problems when she brings Ian to visit Kendall in the hospital and is thrown by Kendall's odd reaction at seeing her son.

After making the switch, Liza takes the impostor to the secret room and is stunned when she announces she has no intention of returning to prison.

Angie is furious with Jesse for lying to her and helping Kendall, which could get him thrown in jail.
