Alone with Annie, Emma stops pretending she's asleep and opens her eyes. Annie tells Emma how important it is that she never talk about what happened the night Stuart was shot. Ryan fails to get Emma to open up to him about Stuart's murder. Zach vows to get to the truth out of Annie and Emma about Stuart's murder.

After David regains consciousness, Amanda claims Aidan was the one who clobbered him with the shovel but soon comes clean and admits she's the guilty one. Amanda explains why she lied at first, telling David it would be easier to always be truthful with him if he just acted like a decent person. David surprises Amanda when he recants his claim about seeing Kendall when Jesse arrives. David fantasizes about having sex with Amanda.

If they keep up the bantering, it should be interesting. They have more intelligent conversations than the rest of the drama queens.

Why do the writers keep pairing people up in Pine Valley? Can't these characters go one month without having a liason with one of their friends? I don't care if Brot and Natalia hook up, but why so soon?
