Annie panics when she learns Emma is being released from the hospital that day as she realizes her visitation rights will be revoked (and she won't be able to control what Emma says about the night Stuart died). Ryan warns Annie that he'll be able to get Emma to tell him the truth. Annie continues to manipulate Emma while alone with her - asking her to request to live with Annie, as that's the only way she won't feel better.

Kendall and Aidan hide out in an abandoned chapel in the country. Kendall becomes worried when Aidan's condition deteriorates as his infection from the gunshot wound worsens. Zach is grateful to Jesse for continuing to feed the federal authorities false leads about Kendall and Aidan's whereabouts.
