Scott stops Zach's interrogation of Adam. Zach nearly pushes Scott to his breaking point but Annie takes matters into her own hands before Scott reveals the truth (she fires a gun into the air!). Scott and Annie fear Adam is close to remembering the truth. Annie tells Scott that her wedding to Adam is off because Emma is blackmailing her to not go through with it - or she'll reveal that Adam killed Stuart. Annie worries that if Adam remembers killing Stuart, she'll never get custody of Emma - and he'll be killed from the grief.

Ryan and Erica figure out that Emma is blackmailing Annie after Annie suddenly announces that she's not going to marry Adam. They believe she's been blackmailed with information that ANNIE shot Stuart (not realizing Adam did it).
