Any moment with Felicity Huffman

Whether she was strong-willed Barb or on-the-verge-of-a-breakdown Barb, Huffman’s performance as the Skokie family matriarch was a powerful one. We scoffed when she sincerely asked “Am I a racist?” but also wanted to lend her a helping hand after she found out her husband Russ (Hutton) was dead and she was being shunned by her son, Mark.

Richelle Reaches Out to Barb|We can't keep burying this family.|After a distraught Barb insists they go their separate ways, she spills the contents of her purse in the parking lot. Mark and Richelle rush to her aid and Richelle reaches out, asking to her to be involved with their family. Watch this scene from American Crime Season 1 Episode 11, "Episode Eleven."

Russ Identifies Matt’s Body

Only five minutes into the season premiere and Russ’ bathroom breakdown after identifying his son’s dead body had hearts breaking everywhere.
