Regina King Wins 2016 Emmy Award for American Crime

Congratulations to Regina King who picked up her 2nd Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role as Terri Lacroix in American Crime. King won the Emmy last year for her role as Aliyah Shaded.

The other nominees for "Supporting actress in a limited series or movie" included:

Melissa Leo, "All The Way"

Sarah Paulson, "American Horror Story: Hotel"

Kathy Bates, "American Horror Story: Hotel"

Jean Smart, "Fargo"

Olivia Colman, "The Night Manager"

The primetime drama American Crime (created and executive-produced by Oscar®-winner John Ridley) has many reasons to celebrate! In addition to being picked up for a 3rd Season, American Crime received four Emmy nods, including Outstanding Limited Series!

For the second year in a row, Felicity Huffman was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series, as was for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series. The show's final nomination went to Lili Taylor for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series for her role as Anne Blaine.
