Position:
Baseball league manager; thorn in Terry Jr.'s side

Family:
David's father

Character Bio

Dick runs the local youth baseball league, something that doesn't thrill Terry Jr. much since her son hopes to play ball this year. He runs a lot of local businesses, so he's always around to alternate between condescending to Terry Jr. and hitting on her.

Actor Bio

Actor, writer and producer Ben Koldyke has been working in television non-stop for the last five years. Prior to his current role in ABC's Back in the Game, he had a guest spot on Aaron Sorkin's Newsroom, opposite Jeff Daniels and Olivia Munn, and recurring roles on Big Love and How I Met Your Mother. He also had series lead roles on network pilots including Work It (ABC), Boldly Going Nowhere (FOX) and This Little Piggy (NBC).

Before landing in Hollywood, Koldyke was a high school English teacher and football coach in Chicago.

Koldyke got his big break after meeting It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney in a coffee shop and convincing McElhenney to watch the short films he'd written and directed. This ultimately led to his first project, the high-profile pilot Boldly Going Nowhere for Fox.
