About the Show

Season 13 of Dancing With The Stars has been filled with inspirational stories, heated debates and, of course, some stellar dance moves. The season's semifinalists include an inspirational war hero, a sexy soccer star, a reality heartthrob and a talk show superstar.

J.R. Martinez, Hope Solo, Rob Kardashian and Ricki Lake danced well enough to be the final four stars left to battle for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. They faced some serious competition along the way.

Basketball star Ron Artest, now known as Metta World Peace, didn't have enough slam dunk moves to make it past Week 1. Italian beauty Elisabetta Canalis said arrivederci after him. Reality star Kristin Cavallari was the next to head for the hills. Her departure was a bit of shocker, as was the exit of singer Chynna Phillips in Week 4.

Fan favorite Carson Kressley sadly left the ballroom just one week before a salute to Broadway. Chaz Bono made tremendous strides with his dancing, but had to tango home in Week 6. Another crowd-pleaser, actor David Arquette, left next. Underdog Nancy Grace went a long way in the completion, but came up just shy of making it into the semifinals. Still, she lived up to her name and made a graceful exit.

You may have noticed that the look of the ballroom changed in Season 13 with a triple-tiered balcony-styled arrangement featuring the staircase in the middle of the stage having the ability to split in two to reveal the orchestra pit. Thankfully, nobody's Quickstep has become a Pit Step just yet!

Even though there are lots of new goodies, some things never change. Tom and Brooke are back, as are judges Bruno, Carrie Ann, and Len. But it's the fans that ultimately help determine which teams make the cut each week during the biggest dance party on the planet!
