Len was back in the center seat and shockwaves rippled through the ballroom at the end of Week 5 of Dancing with the Stars. The theme of the night was the Most Memorable Year of Your Life. So break out the hankies and dive in to this week’s report:
Dance of the Night: Christina and Mark kicked off this most memorable night in fine fashion with their cha cha. The dance was all about moving on for this star which is ironic considering what happened later in the evening. Still, no one can take away the fact that Christina got the first 10 of the season for the following routine:
You Don’t Know Jack: You may think you know him, but Jack Osbourne opened up about the highs and lows he experienced last year. It involved becoming a new husband, a new dad and some frightening news. Check out his emotional message:
Celeb Sightings: Elizabeth Berkley Lauren’s Saved by the Bell co-star Mario Lopez was in the ballroom to support his past TV love interest. Remember those simpler times when Jessie and A.C. Slater hung out at The Max. Paris Hilton was also in the house to support gal pal Christina Milian. See her strike a pose and chat with Brooke:
Nice Moments: She’s not a celeb, but it was nice to see Bill Engvall’s wife before he did his dance dedicated to her. It brought a tear to her eye. We’re guessing she wasn’t the only one who got a little misty. Brant’s contemporary dance for his father who passed away before he got his big break was also quite special. Len assured him that his dad is looking down on him now.
Big Brother: Corbin Bleu’s sister was in the front row cheering her big brother on for the dance he dedicated to her. It was a sweet moment when the two of them hugged at the end of the routine, but we loved that Corbin didn’t forget to embrace his other little sis, too. See the dance that had everyone cheering and earned the second 10 of the evening:
The Quotes Are In:
Bruno: Indecently hot hips. I’m all flustered. I don’t know why (after Christina’s cha cha).
Len: From Len… the 10 (also after Christina’s cha cha).
Bruno: I always say you got to work on your bum to make it happen.
Leah: What am I thinking? You don’t want to know (after her contemporary dance).
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi: I danced my butt off for that score (after getting trip 9s from the judges)
Shocker!: Not even the first 10 of the season could save Christina Milian from the most shocking elimination so far. A collective “what the…” rippled through the ballroom when she and her partner, Mark, heard their names called. Tom dubbed it the ultimate irony after she got the first perfect score from a judge. Christina was gracious in her farewell on a night the drives home the point that every vote counts when you’re a competitor on Dancing with the Stars. Take one more look at this week’s routines:
